Public Proposal #17 Designed by Klauser Lienhard. Proposed for the product line of: Wästberg, Sweden.

A small product with a big message. The proposal shows a very simple, handcrafted candleholder as an addition to Wästberg's Holocene collection. Named after the geological period when there was no electricity and resources were used more carefully. The sand casting as a very rough procedure is still visible in the candleholder's texture.

Story by Rainer Brenner Gunther arrived on a Tuesday night and left 10 days later at the exact same time. None of the family members ever saw him leave his room during that time. The funny thing: He left a very cute review on Airbnb, saying he “already misses the lovely host family.”

Materials Sand-casted steel, slightly hand-polished.
