Public Proposal #8 Designed by Klauser Lienhard. Proposed for the product line of: Artemide, Italy.

The proposal seems fragile and yet iconic. It marks both at the same time: Reduction and technological progress. The futuristic tone becomes exaggerated when the lamp is seen from a certain perspective, appearing as a flat, almost two-dimensional object. The overall stability and equilibrium is achieved through the functional hinges with built-in springs.

Story by Rainer Brenner Sector 7 is the saddest place. No chairs, no central heating, no carpets, not a trace of human life. Rosaline still has no idea why she was asked to clean this empty storey week after week.

Materials Steel and aluminum, casted and extruded, powder-coated. Lighting unit with thin OLED technology.
